Are you looking for a way to make sure you can give money to your child if they need something? Are yo going through a divorce and trying to manage your child’s spending? This debit card for kids is a good option for you. Below I have a Greenlight card review that walks you through the process of applying and a demo of the app. For just $4.99 per month you can get a customized Greenlight Card for your child. The app will also let you monitor multiple children – I have two linked in the review. It is also a great way to teach your children good spending habits! The card can be turned on and off by a parent or by your child in case they lose the card.
Additionally, we discuss the Greenlight card during the mandatory divorcing parent education seminar. The class is live and required by Tennessee law. Our class is offered at least 6 times each month in the Memphis Area. It is also offered in the Jackson, Tennessee area.
My teens love their Greenlight debit card and you can see how Greenlight “saved my son’s life” in his card review in the video liked below. One of the best features of the card is the ability to limit spending to a certain store category. For example, I give my oldest son $40 per month to be used ONLY at a gas station. This restriction keeps him from being tempted to spend that money at Starbucks! You can also see when they try to spend money they don’t have. They learn quickly about sales tax!
Also, I have a review on the goHenry debit card for kids which can be found by clicking HERE.
