I am excited to share my interview on WREG Memphis about divorce mediation in Tennessee!

In this interview I discuss divorce mediation in Tennessee, helping children of divorce, finishing your Tennessee Parenting Plan quickly and dividing your divorce assets and liabilities.  Did you know you can finish your entire divorce in one day!  You will still need a court appearance, but the documents will all be signed at mediation.  The right divorce mediator can help you complete and sign your paperwork the same day as mediation. And much more quickly than waiting for a trial. Divorce mediation is definitely a cheaper, faster and more private way of settling any type of dispute.  

There are lots of ways to find a great divorce mediator in Tennessee. First, you need to make sure your divorce mediator is properly trained.  The easiest way to do that is to CLICK HERE.  This searchable list allows you hunt for a mediator by county or specialty area. Alternatively, if you have an attorney they probably have a good recommendation.  Make sure you have a “Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Listed Mediator.” These divorce mediators are called Rule 31 Listed mediators because they are on a state of Tennessee approved list.  These divorce mediators have had a minimum of 46 hours of training.  They also have continuing education requirements.
