January 1, 2020 offers many new laws for Tennesseeans

In our latest YouTube video there are SIX new laws for 2020 that every Tennessee citizen should know. First, we discuss the new Process Service Law. Second, we talk about consumer protection for customers using travel promoters. Next, we reveal the new law about employer-employee relationships. Then we talk about a new provision for healthcare billing clarity. The fifth topic is an overview of the Elderly and Vulnerable Adult Protection Act of 2019. Lastly, we review changes to handgun permits in Tennessee.

Additionally, there are several other new laws that go into effect in January of 2020. Some include changes to school transportation, contractors and state employees. Next, there are changes to codes for electrical inspectors and a big consumer law change under the Right to Shop Act. Finally, there are changes to Pensions and Retirement Benefits, new rules for horse drawn vehicles, and a brand new program that effects volunteer fire departments.
