How do I sign up?
Click on the Parenting Class Button and pay for your course. You will receive immediate access to your course. Payment is good for ONE ATTENDEE and you will receive ONE certificate. You are NOT required to attend with your co-parent.
We are real instructors that send and monitor payments and follow up emails, not an auto responder. Please allow a few hours for us to respond to your questions. We do not call or respond late at night.
How far in advance do should I sign up?
You can sign up anytime and take the class at your own speed. The class is all online.
Do I need special software to take the class?
No. You can view your course on any internet connected laptop or computer.
Will I be able to ask questions?
Yes, we are available for phone calls and emails during reasonable times (not 2am or Christmas morning). Please note we cannot give legal advice. Please consult your attorney for all legal questions about your case.
How long is the class?
The class is a MANDATORY 4 Hour class under Tennessee Law. We have tracking software to make sure you are watching. We are accountable for your time to the court and Certificates of Completion are NOT permitted if you do not complete the entire class. Please do not attempt to pass the class until you have watched the entire content.
When will I get my Certificate of Completion?
A Certificate of Completion will be emailed to you when the class is complete. The Certificate requires an original signature from the instructor and we have to print and scan them in individually to comply with the Court. The Certificates are sent within 48 hours of course completion. You must complete the entire course and fill out all the information in order to receive your Certificate. If you provide your attorney’s email, we will also email a copy to your attorney.
What if I want to take the class in person?
Right now, all classes are virtual due to COVID. This is for your safety and the safety of our instructors.
Why am I locked out of my class?
Our online course is required to be monitored because it is a mandatory course. There are codes embedded in the course to make sure you are watching and so we can comply with the rules of the court for mandatory attendance. If you are locked out, it means you have skipped mandatory content and you must speak with an instructor to have your course unlocked. Please make sure you are sitting in front of your computer, ready to learn and free from distractions.
